majekillusion
In one of the guides I am tinkering with, there are occasional steps where I need to hide or remove ESP files from the core mod. One example would be needing to hide the ESP files in Cloaks of Skyrim and use the textures and meshes only. Is there a way to do this in Vortex? I have simply removed the ESP files from the zip file outside of Vortex and copied it back over to the Vortex mod directory but it would sure be nice to keep the mod together if possible. Advice would be greatly appreciated!
rmm200
If FOMOD does not give you a choice - install them all. Then go to the plugins tab and disable the ones you don't want. And don't forget Deploy!

HadToRegister
Also, there's a Filter on the Plugins Tab at the top of the STATUS Column, that will only show ENABLED, DISABLED, LOADED BY ENGINE esps, depending on what you selectSo, if you have a good size load order, with a number of Esps set to DISABLED, just click on the Drop-Down arrow of the Status Filter and Pick Enabled or Disabled. BigBizkit
I would assume disabling the plugin but leaving the mod itself enabled would accomplish just what you are trying to do. If you install a mod that has textures and an esp and then disable the plugin, the textures will remain deployed. However, only if the textures come as loose files. If they are packed in a bsa, then they are only loaded when the plugin is active.
