maYuYang
ah, so in the worst case you digest yourself, right? You propably read or heard that already:Crohn's disease is a chronic condition for which there is currently no cure. It is characterised by periods of improvement followed by episodes when symptoms flare up. With treatment, most people achieve a healthy height and weight, and the mortality rate for the disease is low. Crohn's disease is associated with an increased risk of small bowel and colorectal carcinoma. This might help:Certain lifestyle changes can reduce symptoms, including dietary adjustments, proper hydration and smoking cessation. This Forum might be also good:http://www.medhelp.org/forums/show/178 I read that fish oil seems to decrease the chance of relapse(please check "Diet and Lifestyle"):http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treatment_of_Crohn%27s_disease The good thing is that you're female, thus tougher(come to think of it, guys with fever lying in bed start dictating their last will..) I wish you all possible luck and hope you will be better. And if you need someone to talk, I'm a good listener(or reader^^).
