ehh... Another F04 update required.. this game is old and no one cares about Creation Club, just make a final version already Bethesda.. Now Fo4SE will be updated as well as mods depending on it. Its just a never ending cycle of updates when you choose to have mods. lol

 

Still beats the alternative, playing the game vanilla.

So, just install the "Fallout4.exe Auto Backup" mod the next time Fallout 4 updates and you can continue playing.
No need to make a thread on the forums about it.

I haven't updated the game yet. Is this like, just a Talk forum? There are forums dedicated to Requests and Help, I just thought this was a general discussion forum? I don't have any friends or family who play this game so I am just expressing an opinion in this talk forum.

 

Its not really about having a back-up, rolling backwards etc. I know how to do that with Steam if I needed to, just more of an annoyance at creation club content that forces the game to require updates. When the game updates, SE updates and mods requiring SE might update, they might not. Newer mods will, no doubt and you will want the latest versions because they are still being worked on. An older mod that has been abandoned might stop working if it is reliant on an older version of SE. Leaving your game in its current state will work if everything works, but you don't benefit from any future updates of newer mods that require SE.

 

All this I have only read in the past, I am yet to experience any major issue with an older mod stop working. but this game is getting older. Who will give up on doing updates first? Bethesda with Creation Club or the guys that create Script Extender? I mean, they are just 3? guys with lives, anything could happen at any time.

 

If you were against every post that had something negative to say about creation club, you would probably be a very busy man on here, telling everyone to not express their opinions.

 

I guess I could post in the General discussion forum but it sort of relates to mods.

 

I don't have a lot of friends or social media. I just try have a discussion with others about the game. Maybe other feel the same. Anyway, thanks for your input.
