All my esps are invalid after changing staging folder

Just fyi even if you change the staging folder and redeploy you will have to fix any mod that is still broken anyways through redownloads and reinstalls. Especially with ones that are non-ESP\ESL based like graphic replacers. The redeploy system is apparently not flawless.

This sounds like you are reporting a bug - but without enough information to reproduce it.

Can you give a simple example that fails every time? It would help getting it fixed.

Why would you ever have to re-download when the archive is already in your download folder?

Because apparently it still won't fix the issue. I tried that by disabling, re-enabling and reinstalling a couple mods and I still had to do re-downloads. Not a big deal though since Vortex is still in beta and not everything is going to work that great anyways. At least this was easier to deal with than the Fallout 4 update mess from yesterday.

Yea, that's totally wrong.

You will never have to re-download a mod if you uninstall it.

Unless you picked REMOVE and had Vortex DELETE the Archive.

The archive that you download remains on the hard drive, and it's just a matter of installing it again, it works fine.

I'm going to ask where did you put your Mod Staging Folder and your Download Folder?

Staging used to be in the game folder but I moved it to a new folder out of it. I currently run all games off a secondary SSD. I have the download folder set for the main SSD in the user folder area. I should of looked closer to where my downloads were going cause having ANY game related data like mod downloads on the main SSD is not a good idea. Both due to limited space on that SSD and in case something goes wrong with Windows. Although this is odd. I just went to change the download folder path and it brings up the new staging folder path as if it's set for the downloads. Ok I'm not going to mess any further with this stuff cause it's going to break things and cause me unneeded stress. Dealing with a beta based mod manager is one thing but throwing Windows and it's funky file system\structure in to the mix is never fun to deal with.
