Vortex Version 0.16.15 broken

I installed it and my computer (Windows 10 home) said the .exe needed an app associated with it. I downloaded the version from October 23rd (0.16.1) and changed the install location (from outside program files where it was working perfectly fine before to in program files) and it works fine. So...can we get the bug that's breaking the .exe file fixed please? Thanks :)

So what exactly is the problem?

You said you had it installed OUTSIDE of Program Files folder, then changed the install to be INSIDE Program Files, and it still works fine, so what's "Broken" exactly?

-ALSO- this is a very basic setting...
