BigDaddyRat
Every time I try to download from Nexus directly to Vortex, it says I don't have permission and that it is only for Premium Members. I have been using Vortex ever since it came out and never had a problem until now. I can download manually fine. Direct message quote"You don't have permission to get download links from the API without visiting Nexusmods.com-this is for premium members only" What is this? Non-premium members can't download directly anymore? Do I have to get a Premium membership to direct download from now on?? What gives?
HadToRegister
Did you upgrade Vortex to 0.16.15?If you did, did you close Vortex down and reopen it?You should get a parachute for some of those conclusions you wrongly jumped to.
BigDaddyRat
Yes, I have tried to update several times. I click restart and update, but the message still pops up even after I do. And your parachute comment is uncalled for, Mr. Premium Member. In fact, I just closed Vortex and re-opened it and still got the same message. Well, the parachute comment was addressing that that's how these internet scares get started, the "Only premium members can download" etc...Gotta be careful with that stuff, because untrue stuff like that likes to spread like wildfire on the internet.I'm trying to find the thread where someone was having this same exact problem yesterday, and I can't remember what the title of thread was, but they fixed it very easily, and I thought that it just because they updated. HadToRegister
OK, just did a search for "Permission" and got 2 pages worth of the same problem, however, the solution to all of those was to update Vortex. So, I'm not sure what's causing your problem. BigDaddyRat
Manual download is fine...no problem. Just direct download from Nexus to Vortex.
HadToRegister
Manual download is fine...no problem. Just direct download from Nexus to Vortex. OK, you must have this already set, otherwise you'd get the "Need an app" error message, correct?
