I have 2 GB RAM and I would like to know what is the best resolution of 1024x1024 or 512x512 texture? Because while the game after a while the textures become black or pink as the picture, when I start to play but the texture is normal.

There could be a multitude of reasons why this is happening.

If it happens after a set time, then it could be a poorly written mod you are using. It also could be some program you have in the background running. Skyware, malware, virus, etc. Even if its not virus activity, it could be your antivirus, windows updates, your firewall, or some other background application that decides it needs your PC more then you. There are applications that allow you to set priorities of running applications. i know one on CNET is called "setpriority", you can search for others. You can do this manually if you are familiar with windows services <---- always preferred over someone elses software

Check to make sure things like adobe trashware and office products are removed from your start-up as well as other insignificant loaders.

paste back here specs on your system and some of the HD/ENB mods you may be running

edit : Also see how much HD space you have left. if you're under 10% drive capacity (regardelss of its total size) windows starts to throw a tantrum. While your at it, defrag your HD.

I don't know that anyone could give you an answer, there are too many variables. What gpu do you have, and how much VRAM? If you have low graphics card memory, you may find that there are some texture/lighting mods that just wont work for you, and might be the cause, since you say your don't use the DLC. (I am speaking from experience, my card is so old it could qualify for retirement pay!)

The best way to find the best settings, in my opinion, is trial and error. Start low and work up till you have problems, or start high and work down til it looks good. Two people with the same exact card and GPU could have small differences due to the manufacturing process that might cause them to prefer different settings.

Edit, just reread the post about the problem doesn't start when you play...sounds to me like you are overstressing your card, either with resloutions too high or the card might be overheating? Have you used something like CPU-z or a card-specific program to see how your specs are in game?
