Ah, LHammonds, I had sort of stopped quoting for awhile, but you've picked on of my favorite authors. He said so many profound and wonderful things. I may be repeating some I've already posted elsewhere. I apologize if I am.

"That kind of so-called housekeeping where they have six Bibles and no cork-screw"

"It takes your enemy and your friend, working together to hurt you to the heart; the one to slander you and the other to get the news to you."

"Get your facts first, and then you can distort 'em as much as you please". (Oh how I would like to personally deliver this one. Ah, but nevermind..., because,)

"When we remember that we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained"

I loved your quote, as I love the Dalai Lama. However, I have to admit it was a little disconcerting reading it with that gun shooting at me very few seconds. :laugh: . Good one though.

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower;

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay.
