kingdark
-snip-As said, I am only familiar with TES4 scripting so far, so my idea might be very dull. But better asking one stupid question than none at all 8) And technically there ARE no stupid questions :P

RautaPalli
Can someone upload the SOS - Civ addon somewhere? I uninstalled mine a while ago and didn't know about the proper uninstall procedure, so now my saves are getting bloated and the game is pretty much unplayable with this character that I've spent 80+ hours on. It has been removed from both nexus and workshop, so I can't get it from anywhere myself now. Edited August 8, 2012 by RautaPalli
jaime74
I uninstalled mine a while ago and didn't know about the proper uninstall procedureSo this means there is a proper uninstall procedure after all??? What was all this discussion here about then?If so, I'd be glad to know about it as well!Or do you refer only to deleting all the script files properly? Because that wouldn't require to reinstall the mod at all, it can simply be done manually. BTW: I think I still happen to have the esp somewhere. Will have a look once I am back to my gaming PC and let you know. Maybe you can give me an advice about the "proper uninstallation" in return? :D

Maybe you can give me an advice about the "proper uninstallation" in return? :D I found it on the beth forums, basically the procedure was to re-install the mod, start the quests that open the config windows through the console and disable all the sounds and then end the quest through console, then remove the mod. Some people reported that it works, some said that save bloating still happened after that, so I'm not sure if it actually works. Also thanks for looking, but I actually noticed that I still had an older version of my save thanks to windows restore points. I lost 6~ hours of gameplay but that's still bearable. I'll make SHITLOADS of more saves from now on for sure

Might be worth a try at least!Do you know the console command for stopping the quest? Well, I guess it's "StopQuest" of course, but what's the name of the quest? ;)Or do you still know where exactly in the forums you found this information? Thanks a lot!! kingdark
This solution makes a lot of sense actually. So much so that I wonder why nobody thought of it first.
