jimb111
In my GRASS ini it says b30GrassVS=0fGrassStartFadeDistance=0.0000fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=7000.000fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0000 Should i change those?
HadToRegister
It sounds like you've edited *.ini files for the mods you installed, and have left them "as-is" and are now feeling the effects of that. This has nothing to do with Vortex, and everything to do with user error and downloading mods that require INI edits, and not restoring those edits back to default
jimb111
The only ini i have ever changed are the ones for enboost and the one for shadow remover. The odd time that i had installed a grass mod, i don't have to change ini, just add to it. When i verify integrity of the game on Steam, all of it reverts back to how it was. But i am confused about the grass ini i posted, is that the way it is supposed to look, or should i change it?
HadToRegister
There is no grass.ini
jimb111
Also, there are no ini changes that come with IOR. I will keep looking into it!
jimb111
Well, i'm pretty stumped here. I just re-verified my game and i have the same problem. Maybe you could recommend some settings to get the grass going again? Much appreciated. :)
HadToRegister
Rename your skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini and start the game so it creates new skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini In the C:\users\name\documents\My Games\Skyrim folder
jimb111
Not sure what you mean exactly...so instead of Skyrim.ini, just rename it like Skyrim.ini.ca or something and it will reset?
jimb111
Well that didn't work either, but oddly enough i seem to be getting better fps with the shadows enabled again lol

YEs, exactly, that way the game will create new ini files
