dubiousintent
You don't have the correct textures for the "body type" you are using. Please see the 'Issue - Body Replacer - Custom Body Types' and related "Body Replacer" entries of the 'Solutions to Graphics problems' section of the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" article. -Dubious-
Dawson61
I should have added the body replacers installed as per Spice of Life requirements if that makes any difference
dubiousintent
I don't use Vortex, but it's my understanding that it has an "overwrite" folder for files that overwrite other (vanilla or mod) files. It is important as to which files overwrite others in which order. This is called the "install order". The last file to overwrite always "wins", as there can only be one. Make sure you have the appropriate SoL patch files for your other mods, and that the patches overwrite after ALL the original mods have been installed first. They are just like "compatibility patches" in that regard. So they should be: other Character related modsBody replacerSoL modSoL patches for other mods -Dubious-
M48A5
After you installed the mods, did you toggle Archive Invalidation? Doing so is absolutely necessary whenever any changes are made to any texture.

By toggle Archive Invalidation do you mean turning the Archive Invalidation on Vortex off and on? I would like to thank you guys that are taking the time to help an old guy with mods.I mean when I to school we never even dreamed of a calculator let along a computer . I know that the issues I am having are most likely my own doing as I have very little understanding of how these systems work and find the guides hard to understand as ,to me,it is like a foreign language. You guys a re teaching a very old dog some new tricks. Dawson61
I should add that after each mod install I run LOOT before starting game.I hope that this the correct thing to do
M48A5
"By toggle Archive Invalidation do you mean turning the Archive Invalidation on Vortex off and on?" I don't use Vortex, but what you describe is correct. That will reset archive invalidation and allow any new textures to be displayed correctly. I honestly believe you would be better off using FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager) for the Fallout games since it was made specifically for those games. I believe this is the latest version: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54991
HadToRegister
Don't run LOOT, Loot is already built into Vortex.Make sure your texture is loading AFTER the Body Type.I.E. if you get a Conflict Notification between your Body Replacer and SOL, you should tell Vortex to load SOL AFTER the Body replacer.
