SainDavian
so I really enjoy vortex as it works like a dream for skyrim but the other day I tried to install some mods for dragon age origin ultimate edition and it say I need to elevate it. when I do it says vortex tried to access c:/users/name/documents/bioware/dragon age/ settings/ addins.xml but it doesn't exist. any help figuring out on how to make this work would be appreciated! If it said you need to elevate it, then you're running Vortex as an Administrator.Don't run it as an Admin. Also, make sure that UAC is turned on. *EDIT* OK, according to another thread in the Vortex Discussion forum, they're working on a fix for Vortex and Dragon Age Origins, so hopefully that will be out soon. BigBizkit
I think what might have happened is that certain xml values have been changed which make the game unable to find the DLCs (even though it is still there, technically). You should be able to use the ingame download manager to redownload that xml file.
