BigBizkit
Good news for our X4: Foundations, Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Starsector, and 7 Days to Die communities! width=220,height=124 https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/Images/games/cover_2659.jpg[/img] width=220,height=124https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/Images/games/cover_2607.jpg[/img] width=220,height=124 https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/Images/games/cover_2672.jpg[/img] width=220,height=124 https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/Images/games/cover_1059.jpg[/img] Thanks to alexparlett, 6d306e73746572, LazyWizard, as well as nelson3219, who developed the respective extensions, our mod manager Vortex? (which is currently in beta) now supports all four of those games (version 0.17.0 and newer). If you are unsure about what a mod manager does, let me put it this way: Vortex gives you the ability to install and uninstall mods easily, keep track of managed mods, and stay organised by keeping your game directory clean. The idea is to help you spend less time worrying about mod files, so you have more time to enjoy your modded game. You might have noticed the new Vortex download button on several mod pages which allows you to download mods through Vortex (if you have Vortex installed and configured): If you would like to try out Vortex, or if you have any questions, feel free to view our Vortex documentation, or ask your questions in our Vortex Support Forums directly. Happy modding!
HugsForPenguin
Long shot here, and please forgive my lack of technical proficiency, but with regard to 7 Days to Die, is there a way for it to handle different game versions on separate profiles or something? I play with the Valmod expansion on a server with friends quite frequently, but it's for the 16.4 version of the game. Thing is, I'd also like to poke at the 17.xx+ releases, and it'd be great to be able to switch game versions with mods at the ready without having to redownload from steam every single time. I'm afraid Vortex can't currently help with that, it can't deal with multiple installs of the same game. The expectation was that profiles would resolve the need for multiple installs (which it does in most cases) but in your case that obviously isn't so. It would be best if you sent in a feedback suggestion describing this use case.

Bigtownboys2
do you think theres any chance vortex will support the stalker games? thos games desperately need a professional mod installer like vortex
Michalius
How does Vortex do Pathfinder: Kingmaker? Does it use Unity Mod Manager? Does it copy the functionality of Unity Mod Manager? Or does it just deal with mods that don't require it?
