CTD 20 seconds into game now (with modlist) Please help!

It's rare that I ask for help and I hate bugging anyone with questions they've probably heard 12020203 times, but here goes. I'm pretty much at my wit's end really, I use BOSS and Wyre Bash as well. My game was basically working flawlessly for the first 70 hours I played with a little lag but no crashes. Then slowly scripts would start running more and more sluggishly from Convenient Horses mod to the point it'd take a minute just to get off and on my mount. ( I used the Multi Tap mode, which I know is less responsive but it was working perfectly until very recently.) Now suddenly I CTD exactly 20 seconds or so into the game. It started at Ancient's Ascent fighting a dracolich from that dragons diversified mod. Having heard the dracolich from that mod can cause CTD I disabled it to test but exact same problem with the vanilla dragon. I also tried fast travelling into my house and waiting but same problem too. I also had immersive armors and disabled it but no difference. So yeah this is my modslist. Thank you for any help.

YOu are using a lot of mods that can potentially cause the issues you are mentioning. The most likely way to find out exactly what is affecting your game is systematic removal of mods, as described in Bben's blog.

 

The fact that it happens at the exact time after start, however, may mean that there is a hardware or driver issue. Have you used something like CPUZ to determine your graphic card and CPU temps, or something like Riva tuner to see what is going on with your driver in game?

I tried uninstalling all mods and I sill get the same crashes, I guess that means my save is corrupted? I've tried all the other 10 saves I had and same thing. I also checked the blog out, nothing seems to work. >.<

I can see a few things that could be your problem.

 

1 : warzones is a beast. if your system is not up to the challenge that will put you down right now. (even if it is up to it you need to follow its set-up precisely)

2: SOS mods do some of the same things as soundtrack mods

3: Midas is known to crash when you summon objects

4: you have a lot of external HD mods loaded

6 : I don't recognize some of them, more then likely from STEAMypile - on your own on those. I can't stand STEAMypile and wont support their activities when I can help it

 

be aware that sounds of skyrim was rumored to cause the kind of crash you are listing. Right now the english version is not available. it looks like it has been pulled.

 

 

A new start more then likely will not help you at this point, if you have no back-ups. its probably a reload from scratch.

The author of Sounds of Skyrim has indicated that there is a problem with the mod and recommends that it be disabled and deleted. He has taken down the mod and is working on a fix. He states he will re-upload the mod when the problem is corrected.

I'm surprised that you were able to run for so long without issues with a mod list like that. Just combining Warzones and SkyMoMod is enough to cause problems for some. Throw in OCS (lots of scripting), SoS, More Dynamic Shadows, and something is bound to happen sooner or later. Convenient Horses was messing some people up pretty badly at one point. The Skyrim engine is too weak for all these mods. Scripting seems to be its achilles heel. I'd say your save file has a lot of gunk in it at this point. Have you checked the save file sizes?
