Can I import my previous Vortex mods and selections from old mod folder?

Basically, all I'm trying to do is to set back my mod staging folder back to were it was where it already has files in it, and also does that mean I need to reinstall all of my mods? I just resetted my PC after I broke my Windows 10 and I really wouldn't want to reinstall my mods from Fallout New Vegas...

As long as your mod staging folder wasn't located inside your game folder
The folder will have to be empty though, you can easily move the files temporarily somewhere else, and set your staging folder back to where it was, then move the files back in

I was using the Vortex FAQ page "Migrating to Vortex...." All was going well, untill I skipped the first step in the Nexus_Mod_Manager_Considerations section. It ended up giving me all kinds of Vortex errors. I had to kill Vortex, remove that one game from NMM and fix the game files. For that game I will be starting from vanilla--a real PITA!

 

For the other games, I am carefully uninstalling the mods, noting their load order, and dropping the files from the NMM download folder into Vortex.

 

On YouTube, Gopher has a VORTEX - Beginner's Guide, that was partially included in my Vortex download.

 

I am optimistic, but still hate changing MM.
