Error: Failed to initialize LOOT

Hi. After last update to 0.17.3 I recieved this massage and can't sort my plagins anymore.

Here the details of error:

I assume user name got mangled, what's your actual windows user name?

Yes,it is in Russian. Is that a problem? Previously, everything was fine

Apparently it is, not sure what changed to cause it to break but I have a fix that's going in the next release. Sorry about this.

Phew, looks like I'm not the only one with the 'Failed to initialize LOOT' issue. Glad it's acknowledged and worked on. Looking forward to a fix.

Apparently it is, not sure what changed to cause it to break but I have a fix that's going in the next release. Sorry about this.

Are you certain it's the exact error seen in the OP? It's likely a different error related to LOOT if your Windows username contains all latin characters.

If it helps, I had the exact same error message as the OP, and my username contains a ¨ symbol. It's displayed as something completely different in the popup though, just like the garbled name of the OP.
