F4SE doesn't run my InI. file changes.

F4SE runs all my 100+ mods perfectly fine, but it will not run any changes I make to the fallout4 ini / fallout4 prefs files to remove god rays or change shadow distance, graphical changes etc. But When I launch from the fallout4.exe all my ini changes are registered? I've downloaded Fallout 4 Configuration Tool - By Bilago but the changes I made using that tool didn't work either while running fallout4 through F4SE. I've tired changing the proprieties of the files from read only and vice versa, didn't work. Do I have to reinstall everything and start over? I don't know what's left to try? Maybe file location.. agh

The Clearest example of F4SE not reading my changes properly is when I added sStartingConsoleCommand=gr off to the fallout 4 ini. When I launch it from the fallout4.exe it works fine but when I launch it from mo2-F4SE doesn't work.

Should I reinstall? I searched the internet for answers but I couldn't find any threads about this precise issue or am I missing something that's blatantly obvious that I'm not aware of?

Yes, I finally resolved my issue a few moments ago. Thanks for the reply btw I probably would of lost my mind if I didn't figure it out in a few hours/days. I just copy pasted all my doc/ini files in Mo2 ini editor.(also didn't need notepad++ which is kinda strange, but it worked.) :) Everything was working so well I couldn't figure out what was wrong, turns out it was the most obvious, go figure. . I think what threw me off was that my mods worked, so I thought mo2 could read my ini files coupling with a host of other factors.

thx

That doesn't explain why I have the exact same problem and I don't use MO2. Has anyone not running MO2 run into the problem and found a fix for it? A lot of my mods depend on F4SE and I'm not anxious to give them up.
