Millsc13 Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 the redundant feature is it looking through my mod download saying these mods are redundant2 of the modsCBBE and bodyslide.regardless though, I find this feature redundant and want to know how to give it the kill switch (aka disable it)
Staff BigBizkit Posted February 14, 2019 Staff Posted February 14, 2019 Vortex will tell you that mods are redundant if they are being completely overridden by other mods, i.e. in that situation you might just as well disable the mod entirely, as it has no effect on your game other than increasing load times. There are good reasons for this notification, and you cannot turn it off. I suggest you take a look at your install order (and mod rules) to investigate whether mods are being loaded as you intended them to load. Redundancy is usually not something you would introduce intentionally.
lolroflxDhaha Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 (edited) literally only 1 "mod" installed which is USSEP ONLY...ONE... tell me please how is ONE MOD redundant when there is NO OTHER MOD on a freshly insatalled skyrim SE and vortex? since i can`t upload any screenshots here i added a link to it. https://imgur.com/a/hilFK6Q Edited October 7, 2023 by lolroflxDhaha
showler Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Probably because of that big "deployment failed" message. The USSEP has eight files and eight files failed to deploy. Therefore, to Vortex, the USSEP you have active is an entirely empty mod. Fix the big red warning before worrying about the minor ones.

The message in the top right hand corner that tells you that some mods were not deployed correctly - so - they are basically empty. vortex considers any mod that contains nothing to be redundant. so the one mod you've installed isn't installed correctly. that should answer your question.once you figure out why the mod wasn't deployed correctly, that message that you may/may not see will go away and thus solve this problem.
