skunkape78
When I try to open Vortex the logo pops up and then disappears. The icon on my task bar isn't highlighted like it would be when the program is running(Alt+Space does not work due to this) and it only shows the Vortex icon in my system tray. When I click on the icon(left or right click) nothing happens. I've tried re-installing, running as admin, disabling my antivirus, etc and nothing seems to work. The only way I'm able to close it is by using task manager where it's showing running as a background process. Any ideas?

skunkape78
I've already tried that as well as the other resolutions I found searching the forum. It is not showing as open on the task bar so alt+space doesn't do anything.

OK, so, try this, (see if it's already set this way) Right click on the Vortex shortcut, and pick PROPERTIES------>SHORTCUT Now, in the RUN Dropdown, does it say "Normal Window", "Minimized", or "Maximized"? skunkape78
I tried that this morning to no avail. I finally got it to work by COMPLETELY uninstalling/deleting all files associated with it and appdata etc and then moving back to an older version. Thanks for your assistance. :)
