Vortex disabled all my mods in Skyrim SE after switching back from Skyrim

All my 227 enabled mods suddenly gone. Now I have to re-enable everything again.

 

Is there a way to re-enable them quickly like from a master list or something?

Aww man this is BS. I have to reinstall most of the mods again, so I will have to go through the some of the mod pages for their installation manual. Crap.

Try using PURGE, then RE-DEPLOY them, rather than uninstalling and re-installing them.

How do I do that? Where can I find such functions in Vortex? This is what it looks like now in my Vortex.

I have this same problem (see also).

 

You have to turn on advanced mode in Vortex's settings to see the Purge button next to the Deploy button, I think.

 

I'm afraid to do it myself because my modded Skyrim SE works perfectly, I just effectively can't manage it through Vortex anymore. If purge does what I think it does, all it'll accomplish is wiping those mods out of my Data folder and deploying nothing to replace them because it has no idea what I have installed or how.

if they are simply disabled, sort on enabled/disabled status so that your mod list only shows disabled mods, then select them all, using ctrl-A, then click enable via the option at the bottom of your screen.

no need to re-install anything. takes a few seconds.

i saw the screenshot - take a closer look at what i said - "if they are simply disabled" which is what the title of the post indicates. if something is disabled, there's no need to re-install it, just enable it again.
