RinnyWes
Hello everybody! I've been a huge fan of pc games for years and am now interesting in modding after seeing all the great work you guys do. I know 0 about how to mod games (though I do have some coding experience) and would like to know where is the best place for someone like me to begin. Modeling, rigging and animating are completely foreign to me, and I'm not even sure how much of that I need to know anyway for things I want to do. Eventually I would like to create my own 3D character interacting an environment using my own scripts, but that's a long way down the line. For now, I don't even know how to crawl let alone walk, so I plan to learn all I can from this site. In time I hope to become a valuable contributor to this incredible community. c0ax599
Hi(gh) RinnyWes! My suggestion would be, get the Construction Kit installed. Then, get a bunch of other Skyrim SEE oriented tools installed (see Utils).. As many as you think you'll need. SSEEdit, BAE, SSE Nif Optimizer etc...SKSE is a given.. Doh... Buncha other ones not as necessary.. So, get all your tools/utils installed and google and READ.. It's not gonna solve all, but that's how I've "re-learned alot.. Sh*t I used the "CS" back in Morrowind to mod someone else's pleyer house... Made a buncha Balloons hoovering over Balmora back in the day..lol... The classes will get you going with the CS. :) After that, you can play to your hearts content. (note, classes are for oldrim, but, se isn't much different.) Deleted54170User
Welcome. Check out the Earlier games Wiki for individual Construction sets. Get the desktop link for Bethesdanet Dashboard @ https://bethesda.net/en/dashboard. When you've got that app you can download free the Skyrim's CK and Fallout's CK. All the Early Fallout games before FO3 are free too! Enjoy.
