thunderwolf86
ok i was just curious, how would you build a witch character in this game? iv got a few ideas that seem to fit well into the witch but nothing really as an offense.firstly the branches i think that make the most sense to me are the alchemy, sneak, speech and pickpocket trees. as for a main weapon the wabbajack seems to suit a witch, (thats why i put ths in the spoilers section, wasnt sure if mentioning the wabbajack would be considered a spoiler or not). beyond that though i dont really know what else would suit. i tried doing some research on it but that led me to some really creepy websites.....anyway what else would really work for a witch build? chocklymon
That would be hard to say, since people have different definitions of what a witch character would do. Are you going for a good oriented character that is more passive, a good character that is willing to get their hands dirty, an evil character that avoids killing directly but instead manipulates others to do their work, etc. So to get a better answer provide more information by what you think of as a witch character. For me, if I was making a witch character they would have no problem using destruction magic to blast holes through their enemies, and using alteration and illusion to twist the wills of others to their own. thunderwolf86
evil definetally. although i have heard of it, and even seen it in other cases (games and stories, not real life, i probably dont need to clarify that, but im still freaked out by those sites), theres just something about a "good witch" that iv never really bought. illusion, destruction, and alteration do make sense with certain spells, mostly i was hoping to refrain from using them though because that becomes the main offense but i cant really picture much else that would work. Dovahkiin069
If you want to create a Witch, you need to concentrate on the Magic perks. But the most important perk trees that you need to have if you're gonna be a Witch is:Destruction,Restoration and Conjuration.Being a Vampire will help on your Witch character, because Illusion spells are 25% more powerful being a Vampire. OOHhhhhh, I so agree with this. I think you then should get the better follower mod and get yourself 2 or 3 NPS's to inflict with Porphyric Hemophilia and you are well on your way to a Witches Coven. All you need then, is to find some hidey hole place to call home. Preferrably just outside a town or village.

invertedpanda
I would say a good witch build would be Illusion (every perk) Conjuration (undead perks only) Alteration, Enchanting, and Alchemy. Wabbajack and Skull of Corruption for combat.
Dovahkiin069
Also, you need to have a plan B,you need to have at least a Dagger if your Magicka run low,or if your enemies get too close to you.
thunderwolf86
you guys make a good case i like it a lot, im picturing alchemy, illusion, destruction (focus on frost spells), and pickpocket as the mains. alteration and sneak being second. weapons being the wabbajack and a type of dagger. shout....probably a defensive shout, ice form, unrelenting force, become ethereal that kinda thing. i am also building a necromancer so im avoiding the conjuration tree all together. armor, for the sake of role play robes seem appropriate, either that or the forsworn armor. i like the way this is turning out, thanks for the advice, i dont know anything really about witches so this was a new way to look at thingsthanks again
