BlindGaming
OK please forgive me but I've never modded skyrim before (and I've never used Vortex or NMM) and it's 2am- apologies in advance. So I installed SKYUI (latest) with SKSE64(latest) and a bunch of other mods, and have properly configured such mods using LOOT with no major issues. When starting skyrim the in game mod manager registers it in the load order, but it just doesn't show up in game, nor does MCM. In fact I'm not actually 100% certain which of my mods if any are working correctly. Everything seems fine, yet nothing works exactly how it should with no apparent reason- if that makes any sense at all? A literal 9 hours of googling and debugging haven't provided many results other than "reinstall SKYUI and SKSE and check that SKSE registers in console" all of which I've done and it does indeed register along with my ENBs.Any help would be extremely welcome. HadToRegister
How are you starting Skyrim?Did you add SKSE64 to Vortex using the ADD TOOL function and make it PRIMARY, so it runs whenever you start SKyrim through Vortex?
BlindGaming
Yup game fully recognizes SKSE defaulted to start through SKSE launcher.
Arneercool
You installed the wrong skse didn't you? Because i once did and this is pretty much what happened if i remember correctly. Look at the page again, top file is not for se. Edit. It has been a while since i had anything like this happen, but i guess it is worth a try to double check if you got the right version script extender. But i suppose something would have warned you long before the game booted if you didn't. BlindGaming
As I stated it is the proper SKSE64 version "Current SE build 2.0.12 (runtime 1.5.62)" from silverlock and it registers in Skyrim SE without errors as that specific version. LOOT also throws no errors and confirms that SKSE is the correct most updated version. I am now seeing a warning in LOOT from a single mod that says "SkyUI_SE.esp is not active in your load order. SkyUI SE is required for this mod to be fully functional." but I have confirmed that SKYUI_SE.esp is in the LOOT list, shows up in Vortex, is displayed in the in game load order screen, and is throwing no visible errors. No other mod is causing this issue either. Do you think it's worth trying to switch to MO2 to test out if it's a vortex issue? I've heard there's a lot of issues with MO2 so I'm a bit hesitant; don't want to break anything else  On a side note I think my other mods not working issue is because of bodyslider which is something to tackle at some other point. EDIT: Yes SKYUI_SE.esp is also above the other mods in load order at the top of the list under the unofficial skyrim patch so this warning shouldn't show up at all. YOu keep saying it's showing up in the LOAD order. Which TAB is it showing up in?Is it showing up in BOTH the MOD tab and the PLUGINS tab? If it's not showing up in the plugins tab, then you need to DEPLOY it.

The non orange one was not SKSE it was a blank tool that is not in use and never has been. It was intended for bodyslider but I never actually finished saving it because I was trying to figure out the SKYUI issues.
HadToRegister
I would also suggest that people stop opening their mod list inside Skyrim or Fallout 4 with the Bethesda mod list thing, because I've had bad experiences with it back when I used NMM, of it re-arranging my load order
