c0ax599
I just made a large room using some Akaviri Dungeon meshs/textures. I forgot to rename the ID of a reference to create a new Form ID. Of all things on the floor and ceiling meshs. Is their a way to change the ID's batch or do I got to delete all but 1 nif, make a new form and redo everything... Man, hours wasted. Just figured I'd ask.. :ermm: Feel free to laugh. Edited March 1, 2019 by c0ax599
IsharaMeradin
I do not know about a batch method. But if you take one placed instance and edit the base record and change the ID of the base record it will redirect that single instance to use the new base. From there you can change the base used by the other placed references from the old one to the new one. Probably just as much work but without having to place all the objects again. I recommend a test to make sure the idea works before going at it in earnest.
DaemonGrin
If I recall just make your new form ID's select all of the appropriate objects and Ctrl + F to search it will bring up a little menu to scroll through, find your new form id and replace. It will replace all the selected objects with your new one. rinse and repeat for others you need to replace with a new form~! Good Luck~!
c0ax599
Thanks for the replies! I did end up just replacing all the the refs after i made a new form id out of 1 ref. But those ideas are good to know for future use.
