GreatQuestmaster
Vortex Version: 0.17.5Environment: 12 GB RAM, Windows 10 x64 Vortex doesn't seem to operate correctly at all. Sometimes it has a white screen, other times I get a second of usability and then the application freezes on itself. I've tried reinstalling the program to a different drive, but that doesn't seem to resolve the issue.I do still have NMM installed on my computer, along with plenty of mods for plenty of games, but I haven't operated with Vortex yet at all. I still have NMM because I want to try and transfer my NMM load orders into Vortex. Nonetheless, the program now refuses to work. The log doesn't get changed at all as it is open, and the program is just a white screen. I'm also apparently "not permitted" to upload my log file. BigBizkit
Do any of the reasons for white screens / crashes explained here apply to you? https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7151166-whitescreen-reasons/page-

There's no error pop up or option to send an error report. I can't even operate the system itself. Here's the last thing put in the log. HadToRegister
I still have NMM because I want to try and transfer my NMM load orders into Vortex. YEa, don't do that, there are plenty of warnings about not Importing NMM into Vortex, mainly because NMM corrupts the files that Vortex needs to do the import correctly. Start with a brand new, newly installed mod-free game if you want to learn vortex.

I think I'll just use NMM for some games and Vortex for others.

You shouldn't even have to fiddle with your Plugins load order, Vortex does it automatically. The only Load Order you should be working with is the MOD load order, when Vortex tells you there's a conflict. If you're manually trying to set your load order a certain way for your plugins, then you're doing something that NMM has ingrained into you that's completely unnecessary in Vortex. The sooner you stop messing with your Plugin load order, the faster using Vortex will be.
