Unable to import mods from NMM to Vortex

When I try to export my NMM mods to Vortex, I get stuck in this screen forever and nothing happens.

Nexus staff has said numerous times if you already have a working mod set up with NMM, to NOT try and Import it, because NMM corrupts the files needed for Vortex to import properly.

You are best served to using Vortex on a new cleanly installed game, while leaving your old multi-mod setup you already have working, as-is.
