Pickysaurus
Can you check if you have Controlled Folder access enabled in Windows Defender? It'll be called "Ransomware protection" and you'll need to allow Vortex as an exception (or turn off the feature). That is my best guess based on the limited information provided, please see this topic for instructions on what information we need to help you further. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7332636-how-to-post-request-support-for-vortex/

lmcdonald66
This didn't work. I still can't install the mods and I have the missing masters error because of it.

sopmac45
If a master is missing, it is obvious that you need to install the Master first ( all the time ) and then any other option file under and probably Vortex will trigger the red bolt ( mod conflict ) so you can override the master with your optional file and you should be fine.
