StayFrosty05
So, once again, Bethesda inexplicably denies us the possibility to marry anyone who is actually important or remotely interesting? Sounds like Bioware...looking at you Mass Effect... ....Do these companies get together to discuss how best to troll the gamers?.... :ohdear: ....just kidding, but yes it does suck when the most interesting characters always seem to be the unavailable ones....I have been trying to RP my Dovahkin with his attitude being 'The only good vampire is a dead vampire'...he really hates Vamps, but her kinda sweet nature has been growing on me and I am finding it harder and harder to RP him as cold and distant with her (as far as the dialog and story line allows...I didn't want him taking her home or vouching for her), but yes, she has been growing on me, so thus also him. JesterKing
I really liked Serana as a person. Serana is the most engaging person in all of Skyrim in my opinion. Although that's not saying much. Hell, the adoring fan had a better personality than anyone in Skyrim except Serana. Long live The Adoring Fan.
skyrimcrafter1919
Console Commands! There was cheat to make NPC to marrige faction, it was used on Lydia when Bethesda did release skyrim without Lydia being marryable.
RileyEvan
It's currently not possible to edit the Dawnguard ESM file. So any changes to Serana can't be done right now. Not sure what problem you're having. Most modders find the Creation Kit crashes when you try to load Dawnguard. The solution is to add "bAllowMultipleMasterFiles=1" ( without quotes ) to the General part of the SkyrimEditor.ini and add "Dawnguard.bsa" ( without quotes ) to the Archive part, under sArchiveList and the two SResourceArchiveLists. This will allow the Creation Kit to load the Dawnguard information for modding. Not really sure why they haven't updated the creation kit already with this. My character doesn't like vampires, but that's mostly because she has never met a single friendly one before. When she found Serana, she was like: "I'll be damned, a vampire who doesn't try to violently murder me on sight! That has literally never happened to me before." That alone was so exotic that my character decided to help her out. (Later, I killed two Vigilants because were trying to slay a vampire who was running and pleading for mercy. I guess my character is just that chivalrous.)

It was also awesomed that she was voiced by the same woman who did Christine in FONV's Dead Money. Kinda weird that Bethesda wouldn't have made her a marriage candidate. Perraine
I think the main reason why they may not have made Serana a marriage option is that she is essentially immortal ... She is already 1000 years old (their'd be damn cobwebs everywhere) whilst you, the Dragon Born aren't ...Now I know that you can cure Serana of her Vampirism so she won't be immortal any more and also that you can become immortal by being infected, BUT, neither of those two things are compulsory. So they probably decided to leave it out.
