Frittyblack
Skyrim SEWindows 10, 4k resolutionLatest Vortex version1) When changing the Font Size in settings, the bar in "Mods" section which includes "install from file, check for mod updates, Categories" and stuff like this, does not scale with the new font size, resulting in Fonts beiging bigger then the bar itself.2) automatic FNIS: It can happen very easily, that vortex creates 2 (or maybe even more) "FNIS Data" mods, while there should only be one. This at least happens when you are adding a new profile and switching to it. The old FNIS Data from previous profile is there and when enabling FNIS on the new profile, it creates another FNIS Data. In case this is intended (one FNIS Data for each profile), you should mark them somehow. But I'm quite sure one FNIS Data for all profiles is enough, since it should be updated everytime I switch profiles, right?edit:3) You can not scroll, neither via mouse nor via keyboard arrows while dragging a dependency. I'm sure this is a bug, since there is one little very tiny point where you can go with the cursor while dragging that allows to scroll up/down (hard to find this spot, it is on the right top/down near the scrolling bar)
HadToRegister
Did you make sure to turn OFF "Run FNIS on deployment event" like I said?
Rattledagger
For 2: The main purpose of FNIS integration is so profile 1 has one FNIS-output while profile 2 has a completely different FNIS-output where neither FNIS-output screws-up with other profiles output. If the FNIS-output are different, this means you can switch between the two profiles without having to re-run FNIS every time you switch profiles. If you've only got a single FNIS Data on the other hand (or no FNIS Data), you need to re-run FNIS every time you switch profiles, a waste of time as long as you're not changing anything in either of the profiles. So basically, the least amount of wasted time is to setup a profile, enable "Run FNIS on deployment event" and deploy once, for so disabling "Run FNIS on deployment event" again until you changes anything for this profile. HadToRegister
Leave "Run FNIS on Deployment event" OFF.Run it once from the DASHBOARD, "Run FNIS as deployment event" NEVER needs to be turned on.
Frittyblack
@HadToRegister: In the other thread I thought you meant "on" instead of "off", because to enable it was the solution to hte "FNIS generatin failed" error message I had :DBut I see, it's not a good idea to have int enabled all the time, better ran FNIS manually. But I can imagine that this does not solve the "2 or more times FNIS Data" question, since this also might happen when executing it manually in a new profile.@@RattleDanger:If it is really intendet to have 2 times FNIS Data, then it should include the Profile name. Otherwise there is no way to know which should be enalbed and which not, especially since both/all of FNIS Data are enabled at once when starting the new profile, not only one. Rattledagger
@HadToRegister, maybe I'm in the small minority here, but I do run with a mixture of profiles with and without FNIS. Having to manually delete the garbage left behind by the FNIS-active profile that leads all animals etc. as T-pose is to me more of a nuisance than to enable FNIS-integration, manually deploy, disable FNIS-integration. @Frittyblack, while FNIS Data is the same for all profiles, if you enables the "Version"-column at least for me the profile-name was automatically added and is shown in this column. If you double-click FNIS Data and opens-up the extra dialogue on the right, under "Variant" you can change the currently displayed in "Version"-column. I use FNIS, I ran it ONCE after I installed all my animation mods, and I haven't run it since, without ever having turned on "Run FNIS on Deployment Event", and I don't know WHY someone would want FNIS to run every single time a mod is deployed. It's unfortunately called "FNIS Integration" on the getting started screen, which it shouldn't be, because it in no way "Integrates" FNIS with Vortex, it just toggles the "Run FNIS on Deployment Event" on/off @FrittyblackAs long as you have FNIS set up in your Dashboard, you only need to run the generator ONCE, and that doesn't require that FNIS Integration/Run FNIS on Deployment event to be turned on.I have NEVER turned on Run FNIS on Deployment Event, and all of my animations are working just fine, and I don't have a bunch of 'garbage' in my data folder You got the "FNIS generation failed" because you never ran the "GenerateFNISForUsers.exe" executable, which you are supposed to do in order to 'activate/install' the animations, which I told you how to set up in the dashboard.
