MaiYass
For some reason, I can no longer select a master file to be an active file. I will click on a master file and hit the set as active file button, but nothing happens. I was editing a master file, then after I pressed the save button, GECK crashed and didn't save. I then re-opened GECK, and now I can't select master files to be active files. I tried uninstalling GECK and reinstalling, but that didn't fix it, I also installed GECK Extender, but that didn't fix it either. Normal plugin files work fine, but not master files. Does anyone know what is causing this and a fix?

M48A5
From what I have read, you cannot edit an .esm, only create an .esp to make changes.
