Jainzahr
Just transfered over to Vortex 0.17.8 from NMM and while updating and removing abandoned mods I realized that that the mods plugins were not being removed and were still active! Now I have a bunch of inactive plugins in my load order. How do I get rid of them and stop this from happening in the future?
HadToRegister
Just transfered over to Vortex 0.17.8 from NMM and while updating and removing abandoned mods I realized that that the mods plugins were not being removed and were still active! Now I have a bunch of inactive plugins in my load order. How do I get rid of them and stop this from happening in the future? Were these 'abandoned' mods initially installed with NMM or Vortex? Because one of the mod managers has the info about themIf they were initially installed with NMM, and you didn't uninstall/remove them with NMM, then Vortex isn't going to have any idea what should be removed and what should stay
Jainzahr
They were originally installed with NMM and transferred to Vortex using their transfer tool. I attempted to update them in Vortex and when they wouldn't/couldn't be updated, I hit the remove button. So now how do I get rid of the orphaned ESPs? rmm200
Open Vortex. Hit "Purge mods". Wait for completion. Stop Vortex.Open NMM and uninstall all mods using NMM. Close NMM.Check your game directory and delete everything not installed by Bethesda. I would delete Textures, Meshes, and Scripts folders.Use Steam to Validate.Start Vortex and Deploy. Leave Vortex running or stop it. Does not matter.Game should be good to run now.
