HeresBrucey Posted March 31, 2019 Share Posted March 31, 2019 I have just got Vortex as I wanna play SSE again (haven’t played in long time)Last time I played I was an idiot and didn’t know much about moddingNow that I want to create a real mod list I have noticed an issueIf I look at my load order in Vortex it shows all of the plugins that I had before, I want to remove these but cant work out howIf anyone knows how to remove them so that I can start fresh and not have any issues that would be greatly appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rmm200 Posted March 31, 2019 Share Posted March 31, 2019 I have to make a copy of this somewhere... 1) Open Vortex. Click Purge (if you have any mods there).2) Close Vortex3) Navigate to your game directory. Delete everything not Bethesda installed. Same for Data. Delete the Textures, Meshes, and Scripts folders.4) Open Steam and have it validate your game directory. It will replace anything you were over-exuberant in deleting.5) Run your game. Make sure vanilla works after all this. Stop the game.6) Run Vortex and click Deploy. That will install all your current mods. Make sure this set works in game.7) Add any new mods you want.
