sicMisfit6
1. 2. Vortex>Dashboard>NVSE (the blue 'exe' selection)>[select the 3 vertical dots to the left of the triangle "run" button]>Make Primary (a bookmark on the NVSE launcher should appear>[select the 3 vertical dots again]>Edit>Target Path: ".../common/Fallout New Vegas/nvse_loader.exe" + Start In Path: "...common/Fallout New Vegas/" Just something I'm posting because I had to troubleshoot this myself over the past couple of days after constant "Out of Memory" crashes and freezing every 5 minutes, Googling "how to run 4gbNV and NVSE on Vortex" got me nowhere, so I figured this may be useful to someone else too. Also, Vortex should make it clear that it's paths may need to be edited, it took several hours until I figured out why the NVSE would keep saying "Application Can't Find FalloutNV.ini" or whatever. (this wasn't ever an issue for me with FOMM or NMM - though regardless, now that its working, Vortex is extremely functional and it's conflict diagrams are muffugin' godsent) Sidenote: Does anyone know where I can find some vanilla hand meshes?? I replaced mine in my data folder with Robert's HF fix but now when I use the Knuckle Beat (Boxing Tape Gloves) mod my character's fingers are purple from what I assume to be the mixing vanilla hand textures that I replaced. HadToRegister
1. Stick the 4gb patcher into the game directory2. run the 4gb patcher.3. delete 4gb patcher.4 set your TARGET and START IN paths for NVSE, in Vortex's Dashboard like so... (We just covered this in your other thread) TARGET - D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\nvse_loader.exeSTART IN - D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\
