SpellAndShield
I am basing this in part on what Bethseda has said themselves so what are people's opinions on this idea?
Matth85
My opinion? We just got a DLC dedicated to improving Vampire and Werewolf. We don't need more useless beast races. If anything, a new DLC should be on adding some kind of spell making, or more on the Falmer, or finish up the Thalmor-in-Skyrim problem.
gsmanners
May as well have a Draugr DLC or a Dwarven Automaton DLC or Mothership Zeta DLC... I have an idea. How about The Game Finally Doesn't Crash DLC? That would be nice for a change.
Sky999
Personally I've never liked the idea of were anythings, at least not being on in-game. You spend all this time gaining levels and perks that allow your human character to perform new moves, animations, kill, shots etc..., and then you waste it all by just transforming into a were creature that renders all of them useless while you're in that state.
SFBryan18
I see Werebears all the time thanks to Skyrim Monster Mod.

This. on a side note, adding in a werebear ability/ option is pointless sense it would be just like the werewolf, underpowered and limited to once a day transformation. we all ready have the "Underworld" DLC. Something in regards to naming a High King, making the player a full -fledged Jarl or Operation Freedom: The Liberation of the Empire from the Thalmor Aggressors. I like the High King, Jarl, and anti-Thalmor ideas, but why not also have Werebears and Spears in the next DLC? They don't have to be the focus of the DLC to be in it. Werebears are part of TES lore, and have a specifically Nord / Skyrim flavor; in my mind it would add to the immersion. Even if Werebears are underpowered, it would be better to have them than not. Besides, modders have made Werewolves much tougher and more interesting to play, we could certainly do the same with Werebears :D
dragonslayer2k12
Two of the most annoying things in the game, vampires and LOUD BEARS! get together and have a kid and he just can't stay outta trouble... derp de derp derp derp Rob Schneider stars as *censored*y the werebear in derp derp derp de derp! Why is it that many game companies when doing DLC (because they could have just put it in the game) decide to do the dumbest things they can do? Even worse are publicly held game companies and somehow they don't fear the shareholders enough to even do decent DLC and they never learn from their past choices. Almost like marketing depts are made up entirely of rooms full of monkeys and typewriters er uh computers lol. Throw them together in a room and eventually something comes out just not anything good. Then the fans you know, paying customers make their own mods aka free DLC and it is much better than the official stuff. I am sure that the modder interest in a game is some kind of metric that major game companies list when talking to their shareholders/investors. SFBryan18
@dragonslayer2k12, I think it doesn't matter how hard they try, someone will always have something to complain about.
Deleted3507349User
I'd rather see race-specific weres. Werewolves for humans (and probably elves too), Were-sabrecats for Khajiiti, and some sort of were-saurs for Argonians. Not that it really matters in any way, it just appeals to my sense of logic.
