Folowing the instructions on this page: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/92-im-having-download-issues-what-can-i-do And I discovered that the ping from nexus site has 100% packet loss... Now this is strange specially because my connection ping is incredibly fast on any site worldwide, for example, this is my pingtest from MapLatency.com:

KZiGTY6.pngBut still just for Nexus I get 100% loss.... This is My Ping from Nexus:

And this is a test with, Idk, let's try LL site:

Are you blocking my Ip? It wasn't like this before.

We do not do any sort of limiting on Premium Member connections, it's completely limit free. Thus if you're getting consistently slow speeds then there must be an issue with the routing or connection between your ISP and ours, which, unfortunately, we have no control over.

@lucifeh: If the speeds are exactly the same for all the CDN locations I suspect there's something between our servers and your PC causing the problem. As TheBlackSwanFalacy says, this can often be cause by ISP or other throttling.

There's one very important aspect here which everyone should keep in mind: Internet routes.

When you connect to Nexus then your data travels past a dozen of different computers (servers and routers alike). Which means that if something is amiss with any of those routers (or servers) then that will also affect your connection with Nexus.

And there also lies the problem: the connection between Nexus and my computer will follow completely different routes (read: it'll pass different servers & routers) than yours.

A good way to check for this is the "tracert" command in Windows (traceroute on Unix / Linux). So try, for example: tracert nexusmods.com. (full instructions: press win-r (win = windows key), enter 'cmd' as the command to run (without the quotes) and then use the tracert command I shared before.

That should give you a good indication where things go wrong for you. I'm quite positive that your problems are caused by routers (or servers) between you and Nexus, not the Nexus site itself.

These things can really get weird.. I'm a devoted Minecraft player (though I have been taking a bit of a break lately) and I spend a lot of time on a US Minecraft server. Sometimes it happened (especially in the morning (local time)) that I would get kicked off for 20 or so minutes. I couldn't reach the Minecraft server nor the related website. But a friend of mine who lives 20km away had no issues at all. As it turned out my data was relayed through a bunch of routers and one of those sometimes acted up.

This is the kind of weirdness you sometimes can experience on the Internet.
