virgoproxyy
I am having a hard time with vortex not disabling certain mods when I say "disable all", "remove all" or just switch to an empty profile, even if it disables the plugins themselves as disabled. I also noticed a lot if not all of the plugins I was having trouble with were sticking around in my plugins.txt file, and someone said it could be caused by using both vortex / nexus mod manager mods and using mods from the built in bethesda.net mod system together, but even after uninstalling all of my bethesda.net mods the problem still persists. Even if I manually enable and disable the problematic mods if I flip over to the esp section they'll still show up as enabled This is an example of the problem I'm running into: https://prnt.sc/ner8a1 1. Crucial information that we need in order to help you Which version of Vortex are you on? https://prnt.sc/ner5gr What game are you trying to mod with Vortex? Fallout 4 How many mods do you have installed? I had 354 mods in total but I was using around 210 of them. The rest were either disabled or uninstalled What environment are you running Vortex on? I have Windows 10, 64 bit, and here's a pic of the ram info https://prnt.sc/ner4h6
rmm200
Clean your Fallout 4 game directory.1) Open Vortex and click Purge. Wait until it completes. This removes all the mods Vortex installed.2) Close Vortex.3) Delete everything in Fallout 4 that was not installed by Bethesda. Delete Data/Textures, Data/Meshes, and Data/Scripts and anything else that does not belong.4) Use Steam to validate your game. It will replace any files you should not have deleted.5) Start Fallout 4 from Steam. Make sure it runs mod free.6) Install anything that has to be installed outside of Steam, like F4SE.7) Start Vortex and hit Deploy mods. That will install all the mods you used Vortex for.Done. Those are the plugins that are ENABLED. The plugins without an asterisk are DISABLED.
