Microraptor13
Vortex keeps telling me that with mods that need the DLCs, which I have, that the masters aren't enabled. Yet, I looked in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data and found Dawnguard.esm, Dragonborn.esm, and HearthFires.esm all in there. I even deleted them and reinstalled them with Steam. Yet Vortex continues to tell me they aren't enabled and Skyrim crashes when I start it up. Is there a way to enable these files? I am using a new laptop and just installed both Skyrim and Nexus recently if that helps.
HadToRegister
Try removing the following two files and restarting Vortex: C:\Users\<NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\skyrimse\masterlist\masterlist.yaml C:\Users\<NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\skyrimse\userlist.yaml
Microraptor13
That didn't change anything. Sorry.
Microraptor13
I fixed it. I had to open skyrim through Skyrim Script Extender to get the opening screen where you set graphic settings. I clicked Data Files and had to manually check to load all of the DLC. Not sure why that was the case, but that's what worked.
