KahvozeinsFang
I used a program to "clean" out my Fallout 4 directory of all non vanilla files and failed to take into account it would clean out all my DLC and creation kit as well as any mod files. And yes, I uninstalled all mods in Vortex before "cleaning" The problem is that after they were gone, I got errors from Vortex about something and even after uninstalling and reinstalling Vortex the errors still happened. The only way I could get them to stop was to manually delete any files associated with Vortex in my "AppData" folder. It was easy for me to figure out, but someone with less knowledge of computers may have never found the solution. A FULL and complete uninstall should be standard. So that way these types of errors would not carry over to a new install of Vortex.
Pickysaurus
Without details of the error there's not really any way of knowing what actually went wrong. However I suspect it was the "cleaning" utility you used. Re-verifying the game via Steam would likely have correct most of the problems.

You can use Vortex feedback to make suggestions to the Vortex developers.
