Vortex doesn't work with Dragon dogma game_main.arc

OK, maybe the Extensions Tab needs to be turned on in ADVANCED MODE.

Try this.

 

OK, go to SETTINGS-------------->INTERFACE-------> Enable Advanced Mode

 

Is it on or off? If it's off, turn it on

ok i turned on the extension tab , everything is enabled by default

i tried to enable and disable the extension of dragon dogma but it do nothing , it still don't work , it's killing me wonder if i need to reinstall NMM just for Dragon dogma

I'm having the same issue. Here's everything I tried or noticed:

 

• The game is installed on my E: drive, which is an internal SATA HDD and not an external or network drive. The downloads and mod staging folders are both on the E: drive too
• It's a fresh reinstall from Steam with no mods.
• The DDDA extension is enabled in the Extensions tab
• Windows Defender didn't log or block anything and I'm not using any other antivirus
• The full path from the first error message that pops up points to a valid, existing file despite the error saying that it doesn't exist
• I tried two mods at first: Great Mod Compilation and Gransys Texture Improvement. Neither one worked
• Just for the sake of completeness, I tried No Menu Healing, the newest mod on the Nexus that was released two days ago. It didn't work either.

I have no idea why it's failing. I tried installing mods for another game (Stardew Valley) just for kicks, and it worked fine, so the issue seems to be exclusive to this game. On that note, I'm going to go play Stardew Valley now since I didn't know that game even had mods until I saw the game listed in Vortex.

Ok I am not sure if this is still and issue but Vortex is up to date I have advanced mode on and made sure it was on in the extensions. the main issue is I cant get mods through vortex at all and the ones I download manually aren't being picked up by Vortex. I even tried to drag and drop them into the right folder and all these post are from a year and a half ago so I am just curious if there is anything that is going to be done about this or if I should just give up on using Vortex for this game?
