Moved over to Vortex yesterday and it seemed fine. Tonight it is refusing to deploy mods whether large or small. The error I got with the last one is as follows;-

I can't attached the file - I am apparently not permitted to upload that type of file. Meanwhile Wrye Bash seems quite happy to activate plugins when I install manually. Very disappointed as I am trying a new install of SSE and Vortex is doing it's best to stop me!

Try PURGING then re-deploying.

If purge isn't enabled SETTINGS------>Interface--------->Enable Advanced Mode

Also, if that doesn't work, try renaming "vortex.deployment.json" to something else, and starting Vortex
(Found in C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\)

Sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar, many thanks. Removing and restarting the json finally did it! Am glad, as Vortex in many ways is much superior to NMM, not least it can handle big files!
