The mods Fusion City and Outcasts and Remnants have several in-game memory pods where you enter and then are in a world without quests, dialogue, and no other purpose than to blast away at the enemies. Tales from the Commonwealth also uses memory pods, but only to relive past memories. The mod Hilda Hughes does the same thing. However, none of these mods are set in West Virginia and do not feature horse armor or the Mothman.
tekmage Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Fallout 76 is a failure of Bethesda Studios on understanding what their core Fallout fanbase was looking forward to and likely an attempt to "engage" with said audience on a reoccuring monetization level by ZeniMax Media.The way Todd Howard worded things in his latest interview makes me think he wants to forget why Skyrim and Fallout 4 continues to be popular a decade later. Modders fixing and creating content because their love of these Bethesda games.

nexbil01 Posted June 16, 2019 Author Posted June 16, 2019 It's playable so a lot of the bugs got solved but now you have to fight the other players on your server to be made vault overseer so it reminds me more and more of fortnite than a fallout game

It's entirely possible to avoid all PVP content and enjoy the game. Don't speculate on things you've only read about and pass it off to people like it's truth.

Firstly I never claimed that the vault overseer event represented the entire game. The vault overseer fights are however the focus of FO76 at this time so they do bear some mention. Secondly I never passed off the truth of anything in my post. The only thing I was reporting was a. many of the bugs were fixed and b. the vault overseer battles which as I said ARE the focus of FO76 at the current time. Third, this entire thread is about the fan speculation of F076 being a computer simulation in FO4 and not being canon so I don't think anyone is "passing things off like it's the truth"
