Vortex looking in the wrong location

Hello,

So i recently moved all my games from one hard drive to another and well now Vortex can manage all my games but for my Skyrim SE Vortex is still trying to find the old hard drive so I get the error saying the game location does not exist and all that I uninstalled both SE and Vortex still nothing was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it

you say the wrong location - just to clarify - is it looking in the old location before you moved everything?

How did you move Skyrim SE? Did you let Steam move it or did you manually copy it?

If you look in Windows Registry, where does that think it is?

You can also manually set the game location.

On the Games page, click the + sign in the upper right of Skyrim SE.

Then click Manually Set Location.

so when I say location when I click manage after vortex detects the game its looking for my old harddrive which isn't even plugged in

I moved my entire steam library through windows I did not have steam move them didn't know how to

Open Steam, Library

Select The Eleder Scrolls V SE and select Properties

Local Files tab

Click Move Install Folder

 

If you don't let Steam know where the game is, the Registry will be incorrect, and you may have other problems.

 

went to the local file tab the move install folder option is not there
