Deleted68503262User
Hi all, Wondering if anyone's got any advice - A few months ago I started playing Morrowind again and decided to mod this time. Good news - all the mods installed fine and I had no major issues. The version of Morrowind I had was installed from disc, as this is what I had used previously. Unfortunately my disc became damaged recently and as my laptop doesn't have a cd drive, I decided to bite the bullet and buy the steam version in order to continue playing. I've migrated my save files over to the steam version with no issues, but the mods don't seem to want to take. Have moved the path from the disc files to the steam files, and managed to get a few mods to show up in the 'data files' when loading morrowind but they still didn't show in game. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the mods via nexus but still no luck. Help would be greatly appreciated.
rmm200
The only place you mention Vortex is in the topic title. Maybe you had best start here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7332636-how-to-post-request-support-for-vortex/ In addition, we will need to know did Vortex find Morrowind? Sometimes games from different sources use different names for the executable. Did you install mods only using Vortex - or was NMM in this picture somewhere? Did you Deploy after Enabling? Windows 10 x64 n addition, we will need to know did Vortex find Morrowind? Sometimes games from different sources use different names for the executable. - Appears to have, game is displaying in managed games tab Did you install mods only using Vortex - or was NMM in this picture somewhere? - Vortex only Did you Deploy after Enabling? - yes
HadToRegister
Most likely, it's because Vortex is still looking where your old Morrowind used to be,You need to let Vortex know that Morrowind is now in \Steam\steamapps\common\Morrowind BTW, Morrowind GOTY is on sale at GoG for $7.49, and Oblivion GOTY is going for $9.

Path is listed as: C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\ Steamapps\Common\Morrowind You'll have less problems if you install Steam OUTSIDE of Program Files (x86), Microsoft insists everything be installed in there, and then protects the folder so overzealously that it prevents a lot of things from working.
