ArmaSektos
I'm having an issue, bear with me though because there's some background context I should explain first. A few months ago I had an issue with Windows 10 and had to perform a complete wipe of my OS drive and reinstall. At the time, I couldn't even access Windows to do any backing up. I had the latest version of Vortex installed at the time, and the only game it was managing was Skyrim SE. The game was not stored on the C: drive; I have a separate drive for game installs and mods. After reinstalling Windows 10 and Vortex, and when managing Skyrim SE, Vortex detects no mods installed. Plugins are detected though. I'm guessing this is a PEBKAC issue and I just set something wrong on Vortex reinstall, but I'm not sure what that mistake was. So, 1. can this be fixed, and2. what information is still needed to help me correct my situation? Many thanks in advance, I'm without a clue on this myself. HadToRegister
Vortex saves some info to C:\users\YOURNAME\appdata\Vortex\GAME NAME\So that info got wiped with your OS.
ArmaSektos
Vortex saves some info to C:\users\YOURNAME\appdata\Vortex\GAME NAME\ So that info got wiped with your OS. So, wipe all of my mods and redownload then? I figured as much, but I was hoping it wouldn't come to that. Thanks for confirming my suspicions though.
