prosecutemax
I have loaded Vortex and installed all my mods for Elder Scrolls Online. Vortex is on my C drive, Elder Scrolls is on my E drive, and my mods are in a sub folder in the Elder Scrolls Online folder, which contains the exe file. Vortex records the mods as being properly loaded, but will not deploy the mods. I keep getting a message saying that there is an error with reading C: Users: prose Windows One Drive, which is a Documents folder also containing the mods associated with Elder Scrolls Online. The message also said the problem might be antivirus software, but I disabled the anti virus software, attempted to deploy again, and got the same message. Elder Scrolls, in the initial game screen, records the mods from my earlier Nexus Mod Manager, and not the versions of the mods which I loaded in to Vortex. What am I doing wrong? rmm200
Well, for a start, your mods staging folder can not be inside the game folder. The instructions are pretty clear on that.Vortex uses hard links to deploy mods; I don't know if a one-drive based game is supported - but I tend to doubt it.
