I reinstalled Vortex to my game drive and the plugin tab is back. I also reset my download and staging folders. Hope that does the trick.

The problem I had was that my plugin tab in vortex had disappeared and no matter how I changed my download and staging folder could get it back, so I figured the best way was to completely uninstall it and re-install to my game drive. It had been on my C: drive and my games are on E:

All my folders have been on the same drive...only Vortex was on my C: drive. I set up my E: drive for Steam and my game folders, so that had not been the problem. Re downloading and installing Vortex seems to have worked. I just don't know what caused my plugin tab to disappear in the first place. I haven't played the game in a while, so had not had Vortex opened. Maybe the update caused it? Anyway...now going back to my download history and downloading my mods...again.

Yea, could've been a glitchy install that caused a file or two to go missing, or a file was blocked by an overly aggressive Antivirus program etc.

Possibly. But now it seems to be sorted out. Anyhoo...this will give me a chance to go thru my mods and sort them for my game playing style instead of jamming a lot of mods that I really don't need. It also gave me a chance to sort out my mod folders so they will be easier to maintain. Thanks for the reply and help.
