Does it Exist?

I'm hoping this will be considered a good idea, sometimes I know what I want but can't figure out whether it's been done already. If it has maybe someone can help. If it hasn't maybe someone would consider taking it on.

What say you?

The idea for this thread came from this idea:

I would like a Tamrielic Calendar, or clock I can activate to see a graphic calendar like this beauty (below) from COC, but that offers features similar to this mod, "Valdacil's Arcane Calendar", with customizable reminders, so that it would remind me not only of Vanilla recurring events, but also events added by mods. I would need it to have many custom timer slots.

Does it exist? If not, Is it possible?

There's a whole category for file requests.

The Mod Detectives thread is there to see if a mod already exists.

:)

Hey Dark0ne, the Mod Detectives get a bit grumpy if you ask IF a file exists, instead of asking for a file you know exists, but can't find.

I realize that I could request mods, but I'd most like to find out if it exists first, and so that brings me to the problem above.

excl.gif Do not ask 'Does this mod exist?'. Only post here if you know the mod you want exists, but you can't find it. excl.gif For mod requests post here.

I think the place Dark0ne suggested is still the correct location.

It is just like a request but mainly to see if it exists.

Mod Detectives has a good function that allows people to find things they have lost (a frequent problem amongst many members)

But a thread dedicated to see if mods exist prior to making them would not be something I think a lot of people would visit. The vast majority of people here are not mod authors in a similar situation. I'm not saying it has to be popular to make such a thread, it is just that if not many people are using / viewing that thread, your chances of getting a correct response is diminished.

Your best bet is to create a topic titled:

"HELP: Does this exist? Clocks using such-n-so calendar blah blah blah"

The green part is highlighted to show the text that would grab people's attention that like to find and help others. The red part is the text that concisely describes what you are looking for...which will grab the attention of somebody that KNOWS about such a mod. (The colors are just for clarification in this example)

in my view i dont think Myr's topic is wrong granted to what Myr said "he Mod Detectives get a bit grumpy if you ask IF a file exists, instead of asking for a file you know exists, but can't find. " and she is a right to a degree the people who help there are sometimes quite grumpy

as for the mod your looking for Myr i have seen it before but i don't reamber where might still be on the nexus if not you could try the Planet Elder Scrolls website ( the downloads go though Fileplanet you need a account on there to download mods)

hope you find the mod Myraard

it's part of the clock collection, cant run oblivion right now to confirm.

You are correct about where that image came from but myrmaad already pointed that out in the paragraph above the image with a link to the mod (see COC)
