Skyrim LE missing from dashboard.

Hello Skyrim LE is missing from my Dashboard (It was there a day ago). I tryed "show hidden games" , changing games path in setting. It still downloads mods for skyrim but skyrim is missing from the dashboard and I can't select it.

It's like skyrim is still there but i just can't see it/select it/manage it, I tried to add it again but its missing from managed/discovored/supported, it shows only skyrim SE and VR.

I also tried to uninstall and install it(vortex) again but that didn't work.(not sure if I should search for user data, maybe deleting that will help me)

I can still run the game, the game exe is there, the game still works.

Not sure if this has something to do with it but when it dissapeard I downloaded a really old mod for skyrim,The mod finished downloading but skyrim LE was not there anymore. (the mod is levelers towerv35a).

Can somebody help me resolve this?

It sounds like you are describing a problem with the Games page; not the Dashboard.

Games has the tabs Managed, Discovered, and Supported.

Once a game is Discovered, it is removed from the Supported tab.

Once a game is Managed, it is removed from the Discovered tab (Yes I agree - this is weird).

Dashboard shows the game used by the current profile and the tools set up for that profile.

It also shows the most recently managed games.

When you click the button marked "Dashboard" what do you see? Screenshot maybe?

The game is missing from there too (normally I changed my active game from there). It's like the game is still there I just can't see it/active it. I can download mods, the game works. But I just can't activate it to install the newly downloaded mods.

Your Dashboard looks fine - for Fallout 4.

I always change my active game from the Profiles page. No idea what that would look like if you never used Profiles.

If you were using Profiles, your upper left Fallout 4 Icon would include the profile name.

Hopefully someone else can chip in with useful suggestions - I am coming up kind of dry.

I will try to relog, Yes I tried scan (did it 3 more times just to be sure) (I even set up only C:\ and D:\ just to make sure it's not a path problem).

Tryed to relog and it's still the same just when I loged in it asked me to authorize my login (in nexus).

I will try to find (google it) where vortex user data is saved(in my pc) and delete it with hope - that will refresh vortex. If that dosen't work I will try to reinstall my skyrim (as it is really old, but it's wierd because it worked until yesterday).

EDIT: could I do a shortcut with "path" -skyrim ? or something like that ?

Fixed it ! Its ... something stupid... feel free to delete this topic ...

In extentions I had skyrim disabled ... I enabled it and that made Skyrim show up again... As to the question why it was disabled ..... I was not sure what it did so I Disabled it and skyrim was still there (sometime ago). Well now I know what that does ... Sorry for taking your time, and thanks for the help.

Glad you found it. Reporting it gives us another dumb question to ask the users. At the risk of offending some - it might actually fix their problem.

Thank you for coming back and telling everybody how you solved it.

It's far more helpful to everybody, because those here that help, will add that to their list of 'troubleshooting questions to ask' and it will help solve other people's problems that much quicker.
