So I reached the level 30 cap and still have so much skills to upgrade. I found that using the command "player.setlevel #" allows me to level up/down to any level. So I decided to level my character down (using the command) to 29 and was able to re-earn xp to earn more skills. Will this mess up anything in the game or will it be ok to use?

BTW my only mod involving the xp gain and leveling up is arwen realism if that is important.....

There are a few mods available that will increase the level cap. I am currently using a Level 100 cap and after a few hundred hours in the game, I have only reached lever 75.

There are mods for increasing the level cap, which is useful if you feel like you missed a perk you want (or downloaded a mod that adds more perks). I'm not sure how the level scaling functions though, since I'm sure Bethesda only designed it in mind with the player reaching a max of 30.

It's possible to get all your skills to 100 without going over level 30, granted you'll never get ALL the perks that way, but then there are those who because of OCD have to have everything done.

The level scaling doesnt work well.If you use a mod that increases the level cap past 30,you'll start seeing far more overlords, reavers and albino radscorpions. And because of how spongey they are,a mod that reduces their health may be needed.

I am currently playing at Level 75 and do not find that any increase in enemies or an increase in the enemy health.

my understanding is the game will not spawn enemies higher than level 40 or 50. I think you can manually place higher level eneimies and customize their stats, but the game fizzles out early on with spawns.

If that's true, then perhaps Beth was planning on having a higher level cap then 30 at some point but scrapped it and just had it at 30 with Broken Steel.

I've made it to level 75 and I still have plenty of targets. How else do you think I got to that level?
