Question about file conflicts and changing rules

First of all, I've already read this. https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Managing_File_Conflicts

Anyway, my problem is I want to check a file conflict rule, and cant find out how. I was being annoyed/distracted in real life when installing a mod and Im unsure if I hit the right button or not, which has only further annoyed me. So I figured "Ok, whatever, I'll uninstall it and reinstall to make sure." Except, nope... now I dont get the pop up warning about conflict errors making me think its saved somewhere but I dont know where.

I then clicked the "Manage Rules" button but as far as I can see, it's not there. Now there's a lot of rules in there, so maybe I missed it somehow, but there's no filter or search option I can choose which is yet another but separate problem.

Anyway, after slowly and methodically looking through each side of the list, multiple times, and it's just not there. Is there a way to right click a mod and look up its rules specifically or something?

I know I can go into the plugins menu and click manage rules and make it myself, which I have done, and I can manually change the plugin order myself, which I also have done. But in the future I'd like to know a simple easy way to just check and make sure I didn't make a mistake... how would I do that?

In case it's important, the mods in question are the Unofficial Skyrim SE Patch, and then the Revert Fortify Restoration Fix of the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch if it matters, I just disagree with lumping in exploits as bug fixes.

TLDR; how can we easily check/redo file conflicts? It should be easier~ I'm also not sure just loading the RFRFUSSEP esp (one heck of a acronym) after the USSEP will actually work or not if I didn't click the right button... >.> I'd like to test it myself but I cant since my alchemy isnt high enough and frankly, I'm still not sure I'm doing it right. So now I gotta wonder, am I doing it wrong, or is the f****** rule conflict the reason why :/

If you need to make a rule on the PLUGINS tab, you click on MANAGE RULES

Then from that screen, in the left hand box at the bottom, you put in the name of the Plugin you want to LOAD AFTER the name of the Plugin you put in in the right hand box then click ADD

(The button with the arrows allows you to quickly swap the mods in the boxes the opposite way if you've put them in the wrong box)

If you're on the MOD Tab, just use the DEPENDENCIES filter dropdown and pick CONFLICT or UNSOLVED.

(Or you can just scroll your load order until you see a Red Lightning Bolt)

Then click on ANY of the Red Lighting Bolts and a screen will open up where you can choose LOAD BEFORE or LOAD AFTER

Sorry if this is a stupid question, Im new to vortex, been using it less than a month now. Where is Dependencies Filter? This is what I see. Anyway, I dont see a red lightning bolt anywhere for any of my mods. Otherwise, yea I already added a rule in the plugin tab since I was able to figure that out. I'm just unsure if loading the plugin after actually applies the revert or not since it popped up a file conflict. Unlike red or green armor, this is a bit harder to test in game for me at the moment to see if its working or not.

Would uninstalling them and reinstalling them not work?

Edit; I found the dependencies, its apparently a hidden menu I need to enable from the cog. Anyway, there is no listed dependancy or conflicts for USSEP... whats going on? Also, only green lightning bolts for everything else.

I would like to make sure this is installed right, but Im not sure why a file conflict popped up the first time I installed it, but not the following times... :/

No, uninstalling and Reinstalling only works for a do-nothing mod manager like NMM that hard overwrites everything.

The PLUGIN for that patch needs to go after USSEEP in order to override the things in the USEEP.ESP

So, on the PLUGINS tab, not the MODS Tab,you need to his the MANAGE RULES button and do what I said in my post with the screenshot.

Left box

The Plugin you want to overwrite useep.esp

middle Box "Must load after"

Right Box

USeep.esp
